Fake pics dating

Since I wrote my article on scammers and online dating, many of you have sent me images being used in the profiles on the dating sites. I sure wish I had saved the images of the “widowed with a small child” guy that was used when I first discovered this scam going on.


But you need to be smart when online dating to avoid being scammed. Look for things like broken English or inconsistencies. Talking about how they are God fearing, want to get married and so on. If you are chatting with them, keep note of inconsistencies.

Fake profiles have become so common, there are even fake profile generators on the internet which create a profile, a photo and fill out content.

These are mostly used by people who are not fluent in English.

He was from Niagara Falls and the woman he was living with lived in Canada.


He had to come over the border often in order to keep his citizenship, so what he did was create these sites, contact women and set up dates for when he was in the states.... I met him and he was instantly attracted, loaded up his truck when she was at work one day, and disappeared...

While nothing is 100% fool proof, there are steps you can take to minimize your chances of being lured by a fake profile.
